Skippers is the realization of hopes and dreams. The original idea began as a hopeful conversation between brothers Ben & John Kelly. During their Dundee Beach fishing adventures, they daydreamed about returning to beachfront accommodation. They found the perfect waterfront location but tragically soon after, John’s life was cut short following a sudden accident.

Ben vowed to build the dream and with his wife, Cath, opened the doors to ‘Skippers’ (John’s middle name) in July 2017.  At the heart of Skippers at Dundee is a brother’s love, family and recognition of those who influence and shape us as people to better navigate life.

In particular we remember John Skipper Kelly whose spirit and passion for mentoring and supporting young people inspires us still.
