How do we get to Dundee Beach?

We’re just 140km from Darwin International Airport – 90 mins by car. Arrange transfers with Skippers for easy, fuss-free pick up from the airport or pre-organise a hire car from there. Sealed, all weather, 2WD roads take you all the way but for the final 150m of graded dirt road to our driveway (when you turn off Dundee Place). If you have your own vehicle, you’re free to explore the local attractions. Otherwise, Skippers has hand-picked the best experiences including fishing charters, group tours to Litchfield National Park and an overnight visit to extraordinary Tipperary Station.

Can you organise our fishing tour?

Absolutely! We are ideally located, just 350m from Dundee Beach boat ramp and fully equipped to fuel your fishing obsession. Gather your mates for some first-class fishing action. The renowned waters off Dundee Beach offer a wide variety of species from the famed NT barra to massive Jewfish, Spanish Mackerel, Golden Snapper, Trevally, Red Emperor, Queenfish and more.

From near coastal waters to river systems fed by swollen floodplains your experienced guide will take you to all the sweet spots. After a superb day on the water, kick back at our beachfront sanctuary and BBQ your catch of the day. Flaming sunsets viewed from the deck and a few good yarns make the perfect end to an unforgettable day. This is the trip of a lifetime.

What food options are available?

To eat out, just ‘the local’ pub in the small township of Dundee Beach. They serve 3 meals a day, 7 days a week. Otherwise, Skippers has an enormous commercial kitchen if you’d like to self-cater. Bring supplies with you as ‘the local’ has only a small selection of groceries. If you’re flying in to Darwin, you can order ‘click and collect’ and pick up your groceries on the way.

We’ll text you with the check-in details once you’ve booked. In the event of a power outage, lost keys or other property issue please call 0467 414 994 between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday so that we can organize our caretaker to assist you.
